Wildlife at The Hotel Lincoln

Posted By on July 24, 2011

Yesterday evening we sat on the Adirondack chairs by the creek out back and watched a whitetail doe working hard to raid the bird feeders. The town of Lincoln is host to a wide variety of wildlife, not all of the human type. The back or theĀ  Hotel Lincoln is a great place to sit and watch the wildlife that wanders on the decks and around the spring-fed Spring Creek.

Bring your bird book and see how many birds you can identify! These photos were taken by Penny Jasper. We would love for you to send us your photos for our Wildlife page!

Local Pastor Shawn and his son made a dozen Adirondack chairs to Laurie’s specifications for you to enjoy this beautiful location.

About The Author

Meeting interesting people is one of the main reasons Nora McDougall-Collins enjoys her web development work so much. Ed and Laurie Parks are a great example of the interesting people she works with. Nora's family has been in Montana since the turn of the century, settling in Sheridan, Montana. In fact, her family owned one of two brick outhouses in Madison County. Does that make Nora a true Montana blue-blood?
